3. TODAY'S SELF-OBSERVATION

My character is reasonably kind to itself these days - I can only do what I can with what I have doing what I know. This of course can conflict with preference - I would PREFER to be more patient with my loved ones than I have been to date - after all, they can't help it - one's a teen and the other's psychotic. However, patience has been progressing over the years, and I'm closer to my preference than ever before.

I've found it useful to be open with how I'm feeling and to reassure them they haven't done anything "wrong", and when I do lose balance, given some space, it returns quicker than ever before, so progress is progress! In fact I quite like this character now, something that is fairly recent. His heart is in the right place and he has accrued the wisdom to make a difference.

I also understand better the relationship between Higher Consciousness and this character. If you were conscious of all the characters in one slice of spacetime, you would experience nothing, just the noise of infinite information. Being conscious through just one character enables you to gather tangible information that can then be received and used by other characters. You only need to experience enough to reproduce genes and memes.
