3. TODAY'S SELF-OBSERVATION
There's never a good time for your boiler to break down, but this time at least it could have been worse - to discover it first thing in the morning of a normal weekday in late Spring is a reasonably convenient time to address the issue, plus though there's no central heating it's still providing hot water. Several engineers have told me how fab the Wrocester Greenstar 28i junior is but I've had no end of problems with it and I don't recommend it at all!

However, it's had a reasonably long run since the last problem and I have the peace-of-mind of a maintenance contract. This time, with the failure happening at a reasonably benevolent time, it won't affect my day too much other than curtail blogging.

4. TODAY'S QUESTION FOR YOU
How well do you respond, cope and adapt to disappointments, defeats, frustrations and adversity?

5. TODAY'S WEATHER IN BRADFORD
Bright sunny start, but rain arrives by mid-morning and will turn heavy by noon
Rain will move away in the evening and skies will clear overnight
A moderate-to-strong southerly will turn westerly by mid-afternoon
Max Temp = 8 degC at noon
Min Temp = 6 degC at midnight
Sunrise at 05:22
Sunset at 20:46
Moon:

Weathertrack: A depression north of Scotland will drive a weather front across Britain
Air Pressure: 995 millibars and rising

6. TODAY'S ONELINER

7. NOW THAT'S FUNNY!

8. TRIVIA

9. ZEN WISDOM
No matter what the state of society or the times, each of us can contribute to peace in our immediate environment. We can do this by encouraging just one young person and enable them to tap into their potential.
