3. TODAY'S SELF-OBSERVATION
I did something last night with Son that I never did with my own father - stay up late discussing the nature of the universe. On the same day I apparently came up in conversation between Missus and Daughter and got the usual tirade of hate that Daughter regularly emits in my direction.

Once again I am astonished to experience such polar opposite reactions from my children when I am the same guy. As it happens, yesterday I was pondering reactions towards me in general, which also generally polarize. The conclusion I draw is that it must be THEM and what's going on in THEIR heads. I have some time ago now rejected the idea that there is anything much wrong with ME.

Once I had this shift in attitude it was incredibly liberating - I was at longer at the mercy of anyone's agenda and was greatly empowered by taking personal responsibility of my own moral compass. The person in the mirror LIKES me, and that is the only approval this character now requires. Stress levels dropped dramatically after this paradigm shift.

Liberated from the random tyranny of other's opinions, my consciousness has been freed up from daily firefighting to soar to the realms of full self-awareness.

6. TODAY'S ONELINER
I've taken up photography because it's the only hobby where I can shoot people and cut them up without going to jail :D

7. NOW THAT'S FUNNY!

8. TRIVIA
After The concentration camps were liberated in World War 2, thousands of people who had been starved, beaten, and worked to exhaustion died within their first week of freedom. In Dachau, the daily death rate in the days following liberation was 200, and in Bergen-Belsen it was 300. Many died from overeating sweets and chocolate and other food provided by Allied soldiers.

9. ZEN WISDOM
When we change, the world changes. The key to all change is in our inner transformation—a change of our hearts and minds. We all have the power to change. When we realize this truth, we can bring forth that power anywhere, anytime, and in any situation.
