3. TODAY'S SELF-OBSERVATION
With the dust settling on the latest Daughter incident, my mind has been free to refocus on personal development, and in particular my objective of Total Internal Silence. I have been reminded of how crucial it is. The feeling of liberation is truly amazing! It's only when you are internally silent that you are truly conscious.

In my particular case, the relief is so great because some of the thoughts this mind generates are so dark and unhelpful. It has taken me to this point in my life to truly understand the mechanism of this mind and how to master it. What I have begun to observe, and find truly fascinating, is how intuition is quite capable of operating this character without conscious thought.

When I operate in Total Internal Silence, when I do something, it feels like I have already thought about doing it even though no actual thought experience took place. A process went on, but much quicker and subconsciously, so I'm aware only of the end result.

It's very counter-intuitive to equate the absence of thought with true consciousness and a mass of thought as unconsciousness, but I now have no doubt that is indeed the case! When I'm thinking randomly, I'm effectively asleep!

My challenge now is to expand the time I'm truly awake!

8. TRIVIA

While it is commonly thought that the ancient Egyptians were the first to domesticate cats, the oldest known pet cat was recently found in a 9,500-year-old grave on the Mediterranean island of Cyprus. This grave predates early Egyptian art depicting cats by 4,000 years or more.

9. ZEN WISDOM
Happiness is not something far away. It is to be found neither in fame nor in popularity. When you live with integrity, your hearts begin to fill with a happiness as vast as the universe. It’s about being true to yourself and starting from where you are.
