3. TODAY'S SELF-OBSERVATION
With Son away we are enjoying being a little more loose and fancy free, giving the place a "honeymoon weekend" feel. Provided Son's field trip proves successful, it will have been a boost all around for wellbeing.

The most important benefit from my own viewpoint is a calm mind. Only when my mind is calm am I truly myself and able to raise consciousness to the Universal. My aim is to use calm times to build up a robust mental strength so that I can remain in Universal Awareness even in the face of distraction.

My strongest "card" is my attitude of gratitude, which tends to attract all things positive into my life.

4. TODAY'S QUESTION FOR YOU
Are you giving sufficient priority to the wellbeing of your mind?

5. TODAY'S WEATHER IN BRADFORD
Dry and cloudy until late evening
Showers will then arrive and persist throughout the night
A generally westerly moderate wind will blow throughout
Max Temp = 10 degC
Min Temp = 7 degC
Sunrise at 07:47
Sunset at 17:55

Weathertrack: High pressure over the Bay of Biscay will temporarily extend calm weather over Britain before being pushed aside by a strong depression off Iceland

6. TODAY'S ONELINER
I love to feel the wind in my hair and the rain on my face, but not when it wakes me up in bed :D

7. NOW THAT'S FUNNY!
Stella Valente - Cheap Men

8. TRIVIA
In the mid 1930s, scientists developed a new electron microscope that enabled them to see and photograph influenza virus (the flu was once thought to be caused by bacteria). In the following years, influenza types A, B, and C were isolated and identified. Type A influenza causes most human sickness and the major pandemics. Exposure to one strain appears to provide no protection or immunity to another.

9. ZEN WISDOM
When we have a genuine sense that, no matter how difficult our present circumstances, we are not alone—that we are vitally connected with others and with the world—we will, without fail, rise up to the challenge of living again.
