3. TODAY'S SELF-OBSERVATION
The first week back i term-time routine has not proved productive Practice-wise as my attention has been elsewhere but in terms of quality of life I continue to sit at the pinnacle. It's most enjoyable being a lynch-pin of our little trio of a family, meeting its needs.

The goal of internal silence is I have realized not just a spiritual aim but essential to my own wellbeing, as overthinking leads my attention into dark places. In the benign atmosphere of home it's very easy to see clearly into my own mind and how it works.

I have realized the importance of faith and submission, not to any external force but the subconscious parts of myself, which do not require procedures and algorithms to reach conclusions so operates much faster. Submisson is a very pleasant blissful experience requiring only concentration and the ability to quieten the mind.

With external threats currently distant, I have a golden opportunity to strengthen this discipline and make it second nature. My aim is to liberate my conscious mind entirely from decision making, leaving that to intuition, freeing up my consciousness to simply observe and experience.
