3. TODAY'S SELF-OBSERVATION
I was quite pleased about my reaction to minor irritations and frustrations yesterday - my reactions were controlled, a testament to all the progress I have made. I am finding it much easier to "let go" of things. This, in addition to nevertheless making a real difference, finds my morale high and my demeanor calm. Today I intend to pursue all the disciplines that keep me healthy and happy.

8. TRIVIA
The soft drink Coca-Cola originally contained an estimated nine milligrams of cocaine per serving, which combined with caffeine to create the drink’s powerful stimulating effects. While cocaine was officially removed from the drink’s ingredients in 1903, a cocaine-free version of the coca leaf is still used as a flavor additive in the soda.

9. ZEN WISDOM
Hardships make us strong. Problems give birth to wisdom. Sorrows cultivate compassion.
