3. TODAY'S SELF-OBSERVATION
Apart from Daughter being mean to her mother over the phone again in the evening, arousing the fury of both myself and Son, an otherwise good day was had by all, with Missus enjoying a day out in Halifax with a girlfriend and Son having a productive rehearsal with his band. I got less housework done than anticipated but had an enjoyable day nonetheless at the centre of things.

Another family-orientated day is in prospect today and I shall savour every moment. At the moment I'm experiencing a warm glow similar to the one you get after really good sex.

4. TODAY'S QUESTION FOR YOU
Do you have the attitude of gratitude?

9. ZEN WISDOM
Our voice resonates with life. Because this is so, it can touch the lives of others. The caring and compassion imbued in your voice finds passage to the listener’s soul, striking his or her heart and causing it to sing out. The human voice summons something profound from deep within, and can even compel a person into action.
