3. TODAY'S SELF-OBSERVATION
I'm feeling kinda stupid. No one is a greater advocate for meditation than me, and in my case its essential for my mental health, so I should not have been surprised when after several days neglect I "lost it" yesterday - not fits of rage but very cranky all day.

I blamed this on "carer fatigue" but the realty is there would not have been any carer fatigue if I had got my priorities right. Hopefully I have finally learned my lesson - daily meditation is a must!! I don't like the person I become without it. A thorough re-grounding is in order today. Therapist heal thyself!

I hear via Missus that Daughter is pursuing the Cognitive Behavioural Therapy she needs. I am pleasantly surprised - admitting she needs help is not her forte. Hopefully it will promote healing and coping strategies, leading to her treating Missus better and therefore freeing up my focus elsewhere.

Those who don't learn a lesson are doomed to repeat it - hopefully at least in my case I won't be so negligent of self-care disciplines again.

9. ZEN WISDOM
Effort and hard work construct the bridge that connects your dreams to reality. Those who make steady efforts are full of hope. And hope, in turn, arises from steady efforts. Embrace your dreams and advance as far as they can take you.
