3. TODAY'S SELF-OBSERVATION
To my surprise, "carer fatigue" has crept up on me and hit me quite hard all of a sudden. I found myself suddenly fed up with the endless round of catering and attention-giving. This is probably because I am over the Summer deprived of the usual respite of Missus going to work, and in addition Daughter ha cancelled some meetings with Missus.

I really hate the way Daughter inflicts her immature and out-of-control narcissistic emotions on her mother with rudeness, impatience and general disrespect, but on the other hand she unintentionally provides me with some valued respite care.

Of course my intention is to make a difference, and caring for Missus is my main way of doing that, but there is a limit to capacity. Without shunning her I will be assertively having more me time during the daytime, and she can have my undivided attention in the evening.

4. TODAY'S QUESTION FOR YOU
Are you willing to make a stand when you need a break?

Min Temp = 13 degC

Weathertrack: ex-Hurricane Bertha will weaken and move into Scandanavia. High pressure over the central Atlantic will build and extend over Britain by Friday

6. TODAY'S ONELINER
Only in maths problems can you buy 60 melons and nobody asks what the hell is wrong with you. :D

7. NOW THAT'S FUNNY!
Never Mind The Buzzcocks: What do you use to put glasses on? - particularly funny!

8. TRIVIA
The term “dogfight” originated during WWI. The pilot had to turn off the plane’s engine from time to time so it would not stall when the plane turned quickly in the air. When a pilot restarted his engine midair, it sounded like dogs barking.

9. ZEN WISDOM
Dialogue is not some simplistic assertion of one’s own position, nor is it necessarily about persuading others to one’s point of view. Dialogue is about demonstrating respect for another’s life, and being determined to learn when confronted with differences in personality and perspective.
