3. TODAY'S SELF-OBSERVATION
After half-a-day yesterday working on it, I am well-prepared with a robust defence for a disciplinary meeting at the Weekend Job which will happen on Tuesday. It just requires some fine-tuning and touching up, which I will do today. I have found it perversely exhilarating. This is probably because it involves fighting a genuine threat to my wellbeing with a risk of failure, yet I have the weapons, the courage and the determination to win. It is the thrill of the contest!

There will be plenty of time today to attend to all the other areas of my life, most importantly to Missus. With Son's social life suddenly taking off, as a couple we have more time to be alone together and consequently ourselves. This coupled with a week off for Missus will hopefully prove invigorating - providing I am successful on Tuesday!

9. ZEN WISDOM
One’s true worth as a human being is not a matter of outward appearance or title but derives from the breadth of one’s spirit. Everything comes down to faith and conviction. It is what is in one’s heart and the substance of one’s actions that count.
