3. TODAY'S SELF-OBSERVATION
One of my occasional highly unhelpful tendencies is to put something down out of its usual place and consequently lose it! The latest item to suffer this fate are my quality earphones. I last had them in some jogging pants which have subsequently been in the wash.

The trouble is I can't remember whether the earphones were there when I emptied the pockets or if they left my pocket earlier. A thorough search of the has drawn a blank. I am so annoyed with myself! I have to write them off and learn the lesson.

One thing I have noticed with age is that my ability to multitask is diminishing. Things that I could do subconsciously before now require concentration. I have certainly learned the hard way that putting anything out of its usual place, or in shallow pockets is a big mistake!
