3. TODAY'S SELF-OBSERVATION
I have been heavily focused on internal silence, particularly as a method for preventing my Saturday confrontation with management at the Weekend Job going round and round in my head. It's inevitably been in my head, but internal silence has certainly kept it under control.

A significant advance in my self development has been self-acceptance, particularly that in certain situations I will react in an unhelpful manner. I now realize that this isn't "me" because I do not choose it, but I accept fully the responsibility of managing it, in the same way that a diabetic goes not choose his condition but has the responsibility of managing it.

Having seen the benefits in self-control, I am pressing on with the intention of making internal silence my default mind-state.

8. TRIVIA
The soft drink Coca-Cola originally contained an estimated nine milligrams of cocaine per serving, which combined with caffeine to create the drink’s powerful stimulating effects. While cocaine was officially removed from the drink’s ingredients in 1903, a cocaine-free variety of the coca leaf is still used as a flavour additive

9. ZEN WISDOM
