3. TODAY'S SELF-OBSERVATION
I shall remember this weekend as the one in which we were upset by our respective favoured offspring. I had enough of Son's negative criticism and snapped, whilst Missus was upset at Daughter's attempt to force her to go to a Sushi bar.

I was pleased that Missus stood her ground, meaning that I didn't need to intervene, although apparently Daughter displayed her immaturity by sulking. Son decided to keep out of my way, following my own doctrine that time and space are the best first aid when you are upset.

Saturday ended with both offspring relations still frosty but on the way back. Optimistically, both offspring will learn their respective lessons. Daughter will learn not to force her personal tastes on those that don't share them and Son will learn that excessive outward displays of intolerance will only isolate him from sources of help and support.

9. ZEN WISDOM
It is in the ocean of dialogue that a person can become truly human. Dialogue is an epic challenge which first requires you to change yourself, rather than trying to change others.
