3. TODAY'S SELF-OBSERVATION
After some dithering, Son finally went with "Plan A" and went off for the weekend. Much-loved though he is, myself and Missus promptly began enjoying a Honeymoon Weekend. Liberated from the Weekend Job for this weekend only, I felt blissfully content, and expect more of the same today. With Missus seeing Daughter during daytime, then bouncy fun alone with Missus in the evening, enjoyment is expected by all.

Missus was delighted to receive a delivery of flowers from Daughter yesterday, and I was almost as pleased as Missus was. It was a welcome change from the constant stream of venom and self-pity I usually witness from that direction to see Missus getting some recognition for her love and patience. If only that was the norm rather than the exception!
