3. TODAY'S SELF-OBSERVATION
To mine and missus mutual surprise I initiated bedtime passion last night - I am usually "dead from the waist down" in the evenings without chemical assistance. I was very relaxed, had an empty stomach and was well-hydrated, so these things all probably contributed. I shall observe with interest whether this was a "blip" or the beginning of a revival. Either way I am Zen about it - it's all part of the fun movie of this character I play.

I have been toying with the idea of writing out a third book, MENTAL HEALTH FOR ORDINARY FOLK only to discover that Ruby Wax has just published one, SANE NEW WORLD, covering exactly the intended ground. I have had to come to terms with the fact that as good as the wisdom I offer is, right place, right time, right context and celebrity pedigree goes a long way to determining how many are listening.

I'm a little fussy in that I want to be well-known enough to attract plenty of clients yet not so well-known my entire life becomes the subject of scrutiny. I shall nevertheless pursue this difficult objective as an interesting experiment to see if it's really true that if you desire and persist for long enough, you can achieve whatever you want.

4. TODAY'S QUESTION FOR YOU
How willing and determined are you to pursue what you want?

7. NOW THAT'S FUNNY!
Would I Lie To You: Did Rhod Gilbert photograph zoo animals in hats?

8. TRIVIA
Not enough cholesterol is as bad as too much. Low cholesterol levels have been associated with higher rates of suicide, violence, Alzheimer’s, and accidents. Scientists suggest that cholesterol plays a critical role in neuron signaling and brain structure.

9. ZEN WISDOM
When facing adversity, we may think we’ve reached our limit, but actually the more trying the circumstances, the closer we are to making a breakthrough. The darker the night, the nearer the dawn. Victory in life is decided by that last concentrated burst of energy filled with the resolve to win.
