3. TODAY'S SELF-OBSERVATION
Last night's "Operation Beerfest" with Son went successfully and according to plan! Another significant milestone passed!

I have learned to respect my ageing body and limited myself to four pints of (albeit particularly strong) beer. Consequently the "morning after" is not as uncomfortable as it might have been. An easy-going morning before the Weekend Job should be sufficient to restore balance.

I have learned to live emphatically in the moment, and in this moment I am deeply content!

4. TODAY'S QUESTION FOR YOU
Are you getting fulfilment and satisfaction from your life?

5. TODAY'S WEATHER IN BRADFORD
Cold and dry in the morning with plenty of sunshine
Light showers in the afternoon.
Clear and dry for most of the evening but another batch of showers will arrive in the late evening, which will clear overnight
A moderate-to-strong south-westerly will blow throughout
Max Temp = 6 degC
Min Temp = 2 degC

6. TODAY'S ONELINER
I sent a picture of myself to the Lonely Hearts Club. They said they weren't THAT lonely.

7. NOW THAT'S FUNNY!
Mock The Week: Unlikely things to get through your letterbox + things you wouldn't hear at the Winter Olympics

8. TRIVIA
A cat called Dusty has the known record for the most kittens. She had more than 420 kittens in her lifetime.

9. ZEN WISDOM
Only to the extent that we polish ourselves now can we hope to develop wonderful bonds of the heart in the future.
