In Egypt...
The Cairo Declaration is published subsequent to the Cairo Conference: 

1. The Allies are not fighting Japan for their own territorial expansion. 
2. The Allies are resolved to bring unrelenting military pressure against Japan until it agrees to unconditional surrender. 
3. Japan shall be stripped of all islands she has seized or occupied in the Pacific since the beginning of World War I in 1914. 
4. All the territories Japan has taken from China such as Manchuria (Dongbei), Formosa (Taiwan), and the Pescadores (Penghu), shall be restored to the Republic of China. 
5. The Allies are determined that Korea shall become free and independent. 
6. Japan will also be expelled from all other territories which she has taken by violence and greed.

After a great quality time with Son and Missus for my birthday, it's back to the normal routine. After a lot of reflecting yesterday on how I got to this point, I'm keen to move on to do new things and make new differences, and generally enjoy the movie experience that constitutes "life".
