3. TODAY'S SELF-OBSERVATION
A suitably laid back Sunday did much to heal the traumatic events of the previous week. A three-hour marathon meditation was clearly much-needed. There is nothing as restorative as a safe, quiet, comfortable and loving environment to promote healing. I can now begin the week looking ahead focused on my objectives.

I go forward having learned two important lessons: that failing in any particular aspect of your life does not add up to failing at life as a whole, and that the dark emotions, though powerful weapons, when uncontrolled, can blind you to reality. I have learned to turn these emotions on in genuine hostile environments, and off elsewhere. I am consequently scarred but wiser for those scars, and able to make positive differences, to myself, others and my environment, from the benign territory of my home.

4. TODAY'S QUESTION FOR YOU
