3. TODAY'S SELF-OBSERVATION
This morning I awoke exasperated! And all due to a vivid dream! It is a temptation to attach meaning to an experience where there may be none, but there does seem to be a theme since Saturday of being frustrated by the actions of others in ways that are of no physical consequence yet deeply affected me. My Reiki training tells me to look deep within to find the cause.

At the root lies fear, but of what? My intuition tells me it is of being stiched-up/dealt an injustice. This is undoubtedly a childhood scar that has been trodden on recently. And the correct response? Let go. I cannot stem the flow of negative energy around the universe, nor can I always get hold of perpetrators of such without prohibitive cost. I need only make the right response to any situation that presents itself.

All boiled-down, I have been reminded of the importance of keeping grounded, keeping my focus centred on RIGHT HERE RIGHT NOW. That is the only place where you can wield meaningful power. I will be paying particular attention to the Discipline of Grounding throughout today.

9. ZEN WISDOM
All great literature, ancient and modern, is a bridge connecting one human being to another, one spirit to another. The quality of our life is determined by how many of those bridges we can cross.
