3. TODAY'S SELF-OBSERVATION
Usually in times without a schedule, the body-clock lapses forwards - you go to bed and get up increasingly later. Mine appears to be lapsing backwards!
Last night I hit the sack at 20:40 and awoke this morning at 04:00!  I don't consider this a problem - it gives me lots of "me time" in the morning! However, a long deep meditation this afternoon may help re-set the body-clock.

"Holiday at home" is proceeding marvelously - rarely has so much fun been had by doing not a lot. Son's recovery is continuing well and he has started singing (carefully!) again.

As I sit here in the earlybright of a July morning, I sit at the absolute pinnacle of joy in my life. My training teaches me not to grasp and cling to it, but to "ride the wave" - whatever happens in the future, no one can take from me this joyous memory. I am tasting and savouring every delicious minute!

8. TRIVIA
Barack Obama’s grandfather, Hussin Onyango Obama (c. 1895-1979) was recruited to work for Kenya’s colonial power, Great Britain, during WWI. According to one of his wives, the British imprisoned and tortured him for taking part in the Kenyan revolution after WWII. He converted from Christianity to Islam. He was a prominent farmer, elder of the tribe, and healer.

9. ZEN WISDOM
