3. TODAY'S SELF-OBSERVATION
My main affirmation of the moment is "enjoy the movie" - I am mainly detatched from the character I play, simply experiencing what my character and everything else does. I am however not so detatched that I can't be sucked back into the picture. A disruption to the routine or unexpected frustration releases powerful emotions that can easily drown my detatchment. I am coping reasonably well with minor frustrations, learning to observe them arising and fall, but it's surprisingly tiring, like standing still in a strong wind.

Every day I practise detatchment and mindfulness I grow more robust, but I am humble enough to know that I am not invincible - I can be overpowered by a sufficiently strong experience. But if that happened, I would simply seek time and space, refocus and begin again.

4. TODAY'S QUESTION FOR YOU
