3. TODAY'S SELF-OBSERVATION
It's been a very long time indeed since a late night quickie before sleep was successfully undertaken! It must be said that this was most invigorating for the ego! A playful pat on the bottom was sufficient to arouse a somewhat horny missus and I was clearly not going to be resisted. Slipping in from behind, a good time was had by all. Clearly there's life in the old nob yet.

After a loss in routine over April, I am determined to get my daily meditation regime back on track from today. I consider it an essential factor in my ongoing wellbeing and in my ability to reach higher levels of awareness. A loss of discipline can ultimately work in your favour because it gives you an appreciation of its neccessity, and that my primal default responses need to be continually overridden, in the same way one washes regularly to override the natural tendency to pong.

The day begins with peace of mind restored and the realization that continual effort is required to maintain it.

8. TRIVIA
The famous Great Pyramid at Giza was built as a burial place for King Khufu (2589-2566 B.C.) and took more than 20 years to build. It is built from over two million blocks of limestone, each one weighing as much as two and a half elephants. It stands about 460 feet (149 m) high—taller than the Statue of Liberty. The base of the Great Pyramid takes up almost as much space as five football fields.
