3. TODAY'S SELF-OBSERVATION
A quiet steady sort of day yesterday after a combination of weather, settling into a new nutrition regime, online skirmishes and filling up my new phone memory card made life a little different in the previous few days.

For no logical reason I was unsettled at the Weekend Job by the lack of other colleagues in the evening - not that it mattered, there were also fewer customers. I have learned that moods cannot be chosen, only managed, and this at least I did effectively. This is really what self-development is all about - not becoming someone else but getting the very best out of who you are, exploiting your strengths to get results and effectively managing weaknesses to limit potential damage.

4. TODAY'S QUESTION FOR YOU
How do you manage the unwanted aspects of yourself?

5. TODAY'S WEATHER IN BRADFORD
Dry with sunny periods all day, but never rising above freezing.
Sporadic snow showers in the evening and overnight.
A strong cold easterly wind will blow all day, veering north-easterly in the evening.

Mozart joined the Freemasons in 1784 and wrote several cantatas for their ceremonies. In The Magic Flute, he incorporated many of their ideals of wisdom, friendship, nature, and sacrifice.

9. THE WISDOM I'VE LEARNED FROM OTHERS
"As long as you're actively pursuing your dream with a practical plan, you're still achieving, even if it feels as though you're going nowhere fast. Its been my experience that at the very moment I feel like giving up, I'm only one step from a breakthrough. Hang on long enough and circumstances will change, too. Trust in yourself, your dream and spirit." - Sarah Ban Breathnach
