3. TODAY'S SELF-OBSERVATION
A sleepless Sunday night took its toll yesterday as I spent a lot of Monday just zonked, although I did manage to have a good tidy round. Coughing was quite bad yesterday, and so for the next few days it's back to full-on painkillers and aromatherapy to feel more comfortable. An early night paid off sleep-debt, and I had a good 8 hours. A long meditation in the afternoon will also help restore full mental fitness.

It's been a few weeks of people and organizations not treating me right in various ways, although in counterbalance some were great. I've thus recently experienced the full spectrum of human nature from ruthless selfishness right through to overwhelming love. I'm pleased with my acceptance of it all and my response. I have ridden the rollercoaster with my mind in the right place.

My four current keywords for living are: accept, respond, gratitude, breathe.
accept - stop struggling and resenting how things are - everything is just Physics in action, and the Laws of Physics cannot be denied. Simply relax and see how it is as the inevitable outcome of those laws. It was always going to be this way. To accept will eliminate fear - you will feel fear but do things anyway.
respond - allow your intuition to do the work and make the choices - trust in it absolutely - reserve thinking for creative, technical and mathematical stuff. Instead, simply experience life as it happens, for you cannot both think and experience at the same time. Not being overworked, your thinking when you do need it becomes much more effective.
gratitude - absolutely essential to attract good things into your life, allow gratitude to be your default emotion. Focus upon the things in your life that make it worth experiencing. This has profound and fundamental effects on your life experience and wellbeing.
breathe - breathe slowly and deliberately - this grounds your awareness into the present in the present time and space, where you are most powerful. This consequently allows your response and intuition to be at their most effective.
