3. TODAY'S SELF-OBSERVATION
There's something to be said for a nice routine uneventful day - good for restoring balance. After a rollercoaster week regarding mood, I go into the weekend's usual routines with a calm mind after a smooth-running Friday. My training does not change the fact that I have intense emotions, but it does help me manage them. I'm not invincible however. Raw nerves trod upon or an onslaught of negative circumstances are capable of upsetting balance or even breaking me if severe enough.

Fortunately another benefit of my training is rapid recovery - a little space and I can soon be functional again. It's important to "make hay while the sun shines" in calm times, to absorb the lessons of recent events and to return to Universal Consciousness frequently, so becoming increasingly robust and better able to serve my intention of making a positive difference.

8. TRIVIA
The average age a woman stops having her menstrual period is 51, though symptoms of menopause (perimenopause) can start as early as age 32.

Women going through the menopause often report an upsurge in libido. This is because as the level of the hormones oestrogen and progesterone drops, testosterone remains at the same level for some time. This causes the effect of testosterone to become more prounounced and make women feel horny. Unfortunately it can also stimulate the growth of body hair.

However, every individual woman has a unique mental/emotional response to altering hormone levels and circumstances, and in some women the reverse occurs - women can experience a decrease or even complete loss of libido.
