3. TODAY'S SELF-OBSERVATION
Valentine's passed off successfully with missus happy with my performance in all departments. My recent dip in morale was put in perspective by witnessing people in far more distressing situations on a documentary about neurosurgery yesterday. A couple of minor negative encounters online actually served to strengthen resolve.

My conclusion from recent events is that outcomes are not fully in my control, only my responses. I have thus "let go" and I am prepared to face whatever outcome there is, as it is just what is, and instead to focus on making the best response possible. Having come to this point of acceptance, I feel a burden lifted.
