3. TODAY'S SELF-OBSERVATION
I have an average bog-standard textbook Common Cold! This is actually quite a rare event for me. Not enough to stop me doing anything, it's enough to slow me down a little and depress mood, albeit in a calm passive way. Nothing to be done but ride it out, take painkillers to reduce coughing and discomfort and get on with things. I did sleep well last night though. After a 4am wakeup yesterday, today it was 08:10, a very long lie in by my standards.

4. TODAY'S QUESTION FOR YOU
Do you have a "just get on with it" attitude?

5. TODAY'S WEATHER IN BRADFORD

6. TODAY'S ONELINER
Silence is golden. Unless you have a child. Then, silence is just suspicious. : D

7. NOW THAT'S FUNNY!
Kenny Everett as "Cupid Stunt" on "Parkinson

8. TRIVIA
Nothing rhymes with the word "orange", though the nearest-sounding word is "lozenge".

9. THE WISDOM I'VE LEARNED FROM OTHERS
"To be blind is bad, but worse is to have eyes and not see." - Helen Keller
