1. THIS DAY IN WORLD WAR 2 (19th NOVEMBER 1942)
On the Russian Front... The Soviets launch Operation Uranus - the Stalingrad counter-offensive. The Soviet Southwest Front and Don Front open a major assault against the Romanian 3rd Army north of the city. 3500 Soviet guns launch an artillery barrage against Romanian positions. The Soviets rapidly break through around Kletskaya, and by the end of the day, the 3rd Army loses more than half its strength and is retreating in disorder. In response, the German XLVIII Panzer Korps moves to halt the Soviet offensive, and the German 6th Army is ordered to halt the attack in the city and move north to support the Romanians.

3. TODAY'S SELF-OBSERVATION
There's plenty to keep me occupied during the week, with clients to see, and in a major unexpected development, prep work for an expanded complementary therapy business venture. I can see the Law of Attracton at work as people of similar mind are being drawn into co-operating together so that the individual intentions of each can be realized. It's now a case of responding to the opportunity and watching the drama unfold.

A major project has the beneficial effect of calming and focusing the mind onto a single purpose, which can only be good for wellbeing.

The "crack" of a leather whip is caused by a mini sonic-boom, as for a moment the end of the whip moves faster than the speed of sound.
