3. TODAY’S SELF-OBSERVATION
Yesterday was one in which I underachieved in practical terms (though I cleared the laundry baclkog and did some computer jobs for Son and missus) but a spectacular success in relationship terms. Since relationships are the thing that give my life meaning, I have to say that the day was itself therefore a runaway success!

After some synchronistic storylines on FRINGE and TORCHWOOD that I watched on DVD yesterday, I was left pondering the nature of memory, and how people define themselves by it. I realized what an unreliable guide memory is to judge your life with. As well as being easily distorted, it says nothing about who you really are right now. The best use of memory is as a library of lessons, not as a window on reality. I disagree with the popular idea that memory is ultimately all you have. What you really have is the tangible difference you have made to others and your environment.

4. TODAY’S QUESTION FOR YOU
